Instytut Rozwoju Sportu i Edukacji /Institute for the Development of Sport and Education/ (IRSIE) has been operating since 2011, focusing mainly on education, physical culture and culture. It has based its activity on cooperation with non-government and higher education organisations, working with many organizations, universities from Poland, Europe and all the world.
Our experience includes research, projects, publishing activities (publications related to sports, physical activity, culture and heritage) and organizational activities (conferences, seminars, trainings).
The Foundation is a member of European Traditional Sports and Games Association (ETSGA)/ Association Européenne des Jeux et Sports Traditionnels (AEJeST), International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA) oraz World Ethnosport Confederation (WEC). The Foundation has signed cooperation agreements with many international organizations, eg. Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service South Ural State University from Chelyabinsk (Russia), Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires – IHF (Belgium), International Scientific, Educational and Training Center (Tallinn, Estonia).
IRSiE members deal with many aspects of sport and recreation. They are among us people who are specialists in the field of sports psychology, communication and media in sport, recreation and sports activities, marketing and management in sport, traditional sports, social and cultural aspects of sport. We also have experience in working with children, adults, people with disabilities.
We have close contacts with local governments, clubs and organizations working in the field of sport, carrying with them the projects, organizing meetings and conferences.
